A third candidate has filed the necessary paperwork to run for Mayor of Pensacola. Two other candidates have also filed – Escambia County Commissioner Grover Robinson and Pensacola businessman Drew Buchanan. Mayor Ashton Hayward has said that he will not seek a third term in November. The newest candidate – David Mayo – graduated from Booker T. Washington High School and earned a degree in communications from the University of West Florida and works as the general manager of WHBR-TV, a local affiliate of the Christian Television Network.
