The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office said a man was found dead inside a car in Century, in North Escambia County. Major Andrew Hobbs, spokesman for the Sheriff’s Office, said the car was in the parking lot of the Century Park Apartments on Second Street, just east of the Billy G. Ward Courthouse. Escambia County EMS and Escambia Fire Rescue responded and the individual was pronounced dead at the scene. Major Hobbs said a preliminary investigation did not reveal any signs of foul play, but the investigation is still on-going.
