PENSACOLA SKATEBOARDING BAN

The Pensacola News Journal is reporting that Councilwoman Sherri Myers is proposing that the City of Pensacola should ban skateboarding on sidewalks within the city limits. Councilman Brian Spencer wants to ban skateboarding at Veterans Memorial Park because there had been more than $1,000 of damage in the park from skateboarding, but Spencer’s measure failed because other council members wanted a broader ban that would cover the entire city.
