Crestview Police arrested a soldier with the 7th Special Forces Group for the fatal shooting of his estranged wife Sunday night. Police responded to the 120 block of Northview Drive in the Countryview Estates neighborhood and found 34-year-old Natasha McKinney dead on the bedroom floor. 32-year-old Derek McKinney, was arrested at the scene and charged with an open count of murder. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is assisting with the investigation.
