The pier at St. Andrews State Park in Bay County will be closed for several months beginning Monday, April 23, so new sea turtle-friendly, lights can be installed. The lighting system is being modified to comply with state and county sea turtle nesting season lighting codes. Because the pier will be an active construction zone, there will be no water or electricity running out to the pier and it will not be accessible to visitors Sea turtle nesting season begins May 1st.
