The state Constitution Revision Commission has approved eight proposed constitutional amendments for the November 6th ballot. Those eight proposals will join five other measures already on the ballot for a total of 13 covering 20 subjects. At least 60 percent of voters have to vote in favor of the amendments for them to pass. One of the more-controversial aspects of this year’s commission proposals is that six of the eight measures bundle together multiple subjects. Two of the proposed constitutional amendments are limited to single subjects, including one that would ban greyhound racing in the state.
