The Crestview Police Department says the passengers injured in that crash of an Okaloosa County Transit bus Tuesday are recovering. Officers say the bus was eastbound on P.J. Adams Parkway about 2:30 p.m. when a westbound car driven by 18-year-old Sophia Williams crossed the centerline and hit the bus nearly head-on. The bus overturned and ended up on its roof. The driver – 28-year-old Jeanmichael Emanuel-Molina – and his six passengers suffered non-life-threatening injuries. All individuals were released from the hospital following treatment and Williams was cited for careless operation of a motor vehicle.
