The Pensacola Police Department says a woman was seriously injured   after being hit by a train near Bay Bluffs Park yesterday morning. The victim has not yet been identified, but appears to be in her 20s. Department spokesman Officer Mike Wood said she was taken to an area hospital with severe head and arm injuries. No information regarding the circumstances of the accident or why the woman was on the tracks when she was hit around 10:40am have been released. The investigation is continuing.
