The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office says a crime scene technician has been arrested for stealing narcotics from the personal effects of people who died. 41-year-old Christine Rollins, was arrested Friday afternoon after an investigation revealed she had been stealing narcotics in the ECSO evidence building. She has been charged with trafficking hydrocodone and oxycodone and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. She is currently being held on $50,000 bond in Escambia County Jail. Sheriff David Morgan said he has terminated Rollins’ employment.
