PANAMA CITY MALL BOMB THREAT

Panama City Police say an arrest has been made for a hoax bomb threat that closed down Panama City Mall yesterday. Around 10:45 a.m., an anonymous threat was called into the Bay County Emergency Operations Center about a bomb in the Panama City Mall. Multiple agencies using bomb-sniffing dogs, assisted in the search which took over two hours. The call was traced back to 804 Detroit Avenue in Springfield, where officers arrested 31-year-old Nicholas Whitehead,  and charged him with making a hoax bomb threat, a second degree felony.
