The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office says the parent of a student at Baker School was arrested after he shoved Baker School Principal Mike Martello. On February 1st the school resource officer was called to the front office in response to a disturbance between Ricardo Espinosa and Mike Martello. The Principal told deputies he tried to end the conversation with Espinosa because of his continued profanity. Espinosa then shoved Martello. A warrant was applied for on May 11th and Espinosa was arrested on May 21st and charged with felony battery on an elected official or education employee.
