The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a small child in a swimming pool Tuesday night in Milton. Deputies were called to a home on the 7400 block of Forestwood Drive and found the toddler unresponsive in the backyard pool. The child was airlifted to Sacred Heart Hospital and later pronounced dead. The investigation is on-going.
