MISSING DESTIN SWIMMER

The Coast Guard continues to search for a person missing in the water near the Okaloosa County Pier in Destin. The Coast Guard received a report about 1:20 p.m. that two people were on separate rafts when one person fell off and did not resurface. A 45-foot response boat from Coast Guard Station Destin arrived on the scene but did not observe any people in distress or find the second raft. Anyone with information is asked to call Coast Guard or contact local law enforcement.
