The Walmart in Destin was evacuated and closed for about an hour last night because of a broken pipe in the store. Destin Fire Department Battalion Chief Mark Hutchinson said a refrigerant line in the deli section broke around 7 p.m. Firefighters were dispatched to the store and Okaloosa County sheriff’s deputies helped direct traffic. The store was able to reopen in about an hour and no injuries or serious property damage was reported.
