GULF ISLANDS TRAM SERVICE

Gulf Islands National Seashore officials announced that free tram service in the Fort Pickens area has begun operating to serve passengers who ride the new ferry service. The trams will run through the end of October, with stops at the Fort Pickens, the campground and Langdon Beach. Trams will stop at each location every 15 minutes between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily through mid-August. The new ferry service began operation on June 22^nd and runs from downtown Pensacola to Fort Pickens to the Quietwater pier and back to downtown Pensacola. The Pensacola Ferry Services will also lower prices for the Pensacola Beach Air Show. You can get a $15-dollar roundtrip ticket on July 13th and July 14th for the show for adults, seniors, and military. Children between the ages of three and 15 will be $10. Children two years old or younger ride free.
