Okaloosa County commissioners have unanimously passed an ordinance that will regulate floating structures on Crab Island. The ordinance, passed will eliminate the sale or distribution of alcohol unless it’s licensed by the state and takes effect in November. Vendors will also have to move their vessels nightly starting in November 2019. Most business owners feel the regulations are unfair and Commissioners did agree to form a committee to evaluate the impact of the new ordinance so they can review it next year.
