The hit-and-run driver, wanted for the crash that killed a woman and an infant on Cervantes Street in Pensacola back on June 6th, has been arrested in Philadelphia. 26-year-old Markquise Wallace, is believed to have been staying with a relative in Pennsylvania for a month before his capture yesterday afternoon by U.S. Marshals. Pensacola Police believe Wallace was driving more than 90 miles per hour before the crash that killed 28-year-old Nephateria Williams, and 8-month-old Neariaah Williams, who was eight months old. The baby’s mother – 27-year-old Quineka Baldwin, was also struck but survived. Police have started proceedings to extradite Wallace back to Florida.
