CHARGES DROPPED

Charges have been dropped against a search-and-rescue volunteer who was arrested for impersonating a Pensacola Police officer in the search for a missing Pensacola woman. On July 3rd 39-year-old Stephen Williams – a Milton Search and Rescue volunteer – was charged with one count of impersonating an officer after it was reported he was walking around the Pensacola Village apartment complex saying he was a Pensacola Police Department officer. Williams, said he was only trying to locate a friend of missing woman Cassandra Robinson, who might have useful information. Her body was later found in a cargo trailer in Myrtle Grove. The State Attorneys Office dropped the case against Williams this week.
