SANTA ROSA COUNTY COMMISSION CAMPAIGN COMPLAINTS

Santa Rosa County Commissioner and candidate for re-election Rob Williamson has been accused of distorting or fabricating the truth in three recent campaign mail-outs, by Sandi Kemp, the publisher and owner of the Navarre Press, a weekly newspaper. The newspaper wants a retraction by the end of this week or they will sue. Navarre Press attorney John Adams said the mailer mentions texts alleged to have been exchanged with Sandi Kemp which were never sent. Williamson said there will be no retraction and that Sandi Kemp have been conducting an viscous, personal vendetta against him. David Piech, Williamson’s opponent, has filed two separate complaints against Williamson with the Florida Election Commission disputing statements made in earlier campaign fliers.
