The Florida Highway Patrol said two students were taken to the hospital following the crash of a Santa Rosa County school bus just before 6:30 a.m. on Friday. Troopers said a pickup truck driven by Brian Day Jr. was eastbound on County Road 399 when it crossed the center line and sideswiped the bus which was carrying 29 students at the time. Two of the students were taken to Gulf Breeze Hospital with minor injuries. Day was cited with failure to maintain a single lane.
