4 DEAD IN EGLIN PLANE CRASH

Eglin Air Force Base officials say four people were killed in the crash of a twin-engine civilian aircraft yesterday morning on the Eglin Reservation. The victims have been identified as the pilot, Henry Nowakowski; Carolyn and Patsy Nowakowski; and Tom Seine. They had boarded the plane in Toledo, Ohio and were headed to the Destin Executive Airport, but were diverted to Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport about 11am. The plane – a Beechcraft B-60 – went down in a remote area of Eglin Air Force Base. The investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
