The Crestview Police Department says two officers have been fired after an internal investigation. Officers Christina Dawson and Shawn Temple were placed on administrative leave in May after they held what was called a “secret meeting” on the Eglin Reservation in Walton County. Several officers were told the meeting was mandatory and two other officers who attended told investigators the meeting seemed to be focused on getting two commanders fired. The investigation found that Dawson and Temple each violated nine department policies.
