A man who robbed a West Nine Mile Road bank yesterday afternoon was arrested soon afterwards by Escambia County Sheriff’s deputies. 35-year-old Jamil Winns, is accused of walking into the Wells Fargo Bank at the corner of West Nine Mile and Chemstrand Road at 12:30 p.m. and demanding money. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash, but was arrested a short time later on Highway 29. He was booked into the Escambia County Jail and is being held without bond.
