The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating an inmate death at Blackwater River Correctional Institution. Officials say 33-year-old Kenneth Davis died at the private prison on Saturday. FDLE spokesman Jeremy Burns confirmed the agency is involved in the investigation but could not comment further. Florida Department of Corrections records show Davis, was serving 25 years for attempted first-degree murder in Walton County.
