SCENIC HIGHWAY TRAFFIC FATALITY

The Florida Highway Patrol says an early morning traffic crash on Scenic Highway in Escambia County took the life of a 49-year-old man. Troopers say 49-year-old Michael Rhatigan was northbound on Scenic Highway around 12:45 am yesterday when his pickup left the road crashed into a concrete center divider and a pole. He was transported to West Florida Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
