NAS Whiting Field in Milton temporarily closed their west entry gate after a driver made a comment to NAS personnel that prompted security concerns. Around 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday the individual – who was in a commercial vehicle – approached the west gate entrance to Whiting Field in Milton where he made the comment to the sentry on duty which prompted officials to close the gate to traffic.
