The Florida Supreme Court has suspended the license of former chief assistant State Attorney Greg Wilson, of the 14th Judicial Circuit, who is waiting to be sentenced for possession of contraband in a detention facility. Wilson – who had left the State Attorney’s Office in Bay County and was in private practice – was convicted of helping two inmates he was representing pass notes inside the Bay County Jail. Wilson lied to investigators about his role in the exchange and was also convicted of perjury. He is scheduled to be sentenced November 5th by Circuit Judge Michael Overstreet.
