SOLDIER’S DRUG INVESTIGATION CONTINUES

The federal Drug Enforcement Administration office in Miami said an investigation into alleged cocaine smuggling from Colombia by an Army 7th Special Forces Group Airborne soldier is continuing has not stopped even though he is set for trial on November 13th in U.S. District Court in Pensacola. Master Sergeant Daniel Gould was indicted last month by a federal grand jury on two counts of conspiring to smuggle 90 pounds of cocaine from Columbia to Eglin Air Force Base. Gould will not be in custody in advance of his trial, but he is required to submit to location monitoring and to surrender his passport.
