The Florida Department of Law Enforcement says a Bonifay Police Officer has been arrested for selling prescription opioid tablets out of his marked patrol vehicle, while in uniform and was using his personal cell phone to facilitate the drug deals. The FDLE began its investigation in September at the request of the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office and made a controlled buy of opioid tablets from the officer, 48-year-old Dwayne White. He was arrested last night at the Bonifay Police Department and was booked into the Walton County Jail.
