ESCAMBIA COUNTY VOTER REGISTRATION

Voter registration closes today for the November 6 general election. The Escambia County Supervisor of Elections office will offer extended hours from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. to allow voters to register. Florida law mandates that registration books close 29 days before an election, however, due to the Columbus Day holiday voters are getting an extra day. New registrations must be completed and received or postmarked no later than October 9th for them to be effective for the November 6th election.
