The Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Office says a deputy responding to a disturbance call Saturday morning in North Santa Rosa County, shot a man who threatened him with a crossbow. 26-year-old Glenn  Phillips, reportedly pointed a crossbow at a deputy, who shot him in the shoulder. Phillips was transported to a hospital. No deputies were injured in the incident and the investigation is continuing.
