MULTIPLE HIT AND RUN CHARGES

The Florida Highway Patrol says a 38-year-old Navarre man managed to rear-end 11 different vehicles on Highway 98 over the weekend. Troopers say Daniel Weidman was eastbound from Gulf Breeze to Navarre at around 5 p.m. Saturday and failed to stop at any of the crashes. After the last collision Weidman lost control of his Jeep, ran off the road and hit a tree. All involved were treated for minor injuries and Weidman was charged with 11 hit and runs with other charges pending.
