The Coast Guard has suspended the search for a missing person in the Gulf after a ultralight aircraft went down about a mile south of Panama City Beach yesterday. The report was received about 6:35 a.m. A helicopter and a 45-foot response boat began a search. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Bay County Sheriff’s Office also assisted. The search was suspended after about six hours.
