A 19-year-old man who led police on a lengthy manhunt on Thursday and caused two Cantonment schools to be placed on lockdown has been arrested. The Sheriff’s Office said Jordon King fled on foot from a residence as deputies attempted to arrest him on outstanding warrants. A manhunt in the area of Kingsfield Road and Highway 297-A lasted several hours and caused Kingsfield Elementary and Ransom Middle schools to be locked down briefly as deputies searched the area. He was arrested late Friday night at a motel on Highway 29 and booked into the Escambia County Jail without bond.
