The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man found shot to death on Tuesday near the intersection of North “S” Street and West Lee Street. Deputies responded to a report of a shooting and when they arrived they found the body of 44-year-old Jose Rodriguez lying in middle of the road. Sheriff David Morgan told WCOA a partial description of a suspect vehicle was obtained and the investigation is continuing.
