Over 100,000 people have graduated from The University of West Florida. Actually, the total is 100,305 as of this past Saturday when UWF President Martha Saunders conferred 1,777 degrees to graduates from five academic colleges and the UWF Graduate School at the Pensacola Bay Center. UWF first opened as an upper-division school for juniors and seniors in 1967 and Saunders said at that first graduation 58 degrees were conferred.
