Just in time for Christmas Pensacola’s Downtown Improvement Board is offering free parking. Instead of a ticket on the windshields of parking violators. Inside a real parking ticket envelope drivers learn it is part of Parking Amnesty Day, started by the DIB in 2015. Parking Amnesty Day kicks off a week-long free parking period in downtown Pensacola and the free parking applies to any metered space under the DIB’s management.
