PENSACOLA HIGH SCHOOL BOMB THREAT

The Pensacola Police Department investigated a report of a bomb threat at Pensacola High School yesterday. Department spokesman, Officer Mike Wood, said the threat was received at 10:30 a.m. An Escambia County Sheriff’s Office bomb-sniffing dog swept the school, but found nothing. Wood said bomb threats at schools are fairly common around winter and summer break. Pensacola High School Principal David Williams said the school was not placed on lockdown, students inside continued taking exams, and classes were dismissed at their normal times.
