The Milton Police Department is investigating a shooting on Hill Street. Authorities confirm an unidentified male was transported by ground to an Escambia County hospital and is said to be in stable condition. It was reported as a drive-by shooting but investigators say that may not be the case. Officer Michael Cline said the victim was shot in the thigh. The investigation is on-going.
