The price of gas was a Christmas gift for millions of Americans traveling for the holidays with gas prices at a two-year low. The statewide average was $2.26 per gallon, but many Florida locations are at or near the $2.00 mark. Gas prices are 10 cents less per gallon than the average on Christmas Day 2017.On average, Florida drivers are paying nearly ten dollars less for a full tank of gas, compared to when prices peaked last summer.
