Escambia County Sheriff’s deputies rescued a litter of puppies that were thrown from a vehicle on Christmas Day. Now being called the “Great Christmas Puppy Rescue” deputies were able to save the puppies – none of which were injured – thanks to a tip from a concerned citizen. Deputies brought the dogs back to the Sheriff’s Office, where all of the puppies have been adopted. One of them has been named Tinsel, and the Sheriff’s Office is taking name suggestions on its Facebook page.
