The sixth red bulb has been lit on the “Keep the Wreath Green” fire safety wreath. Escambia Fire-Rescue said firefighters responded to a house fire Christmas night in the 900 block of Rentz Avenue in Warrington around 11;30PM. An adult male was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital as a trauma alert.  The fire caused major damage throughout the home and the state fire marshal is investigating the cause. The “Keep the Wreath Green” fire safety campaign is a Escambia County collaborative initiative with the city of Pensacola to promote fire safety during the month of December.
