PENSACOLA POLICE INVESTIGATING FOUND BODY

Pensacola Police say they recovered a body from the water Saturday afternoon near the boat launch on 17th Avenue at the end of the fishing pier. Police said a man jumped from the Pensacola Bay Fishing Pier Thursday night but they have not said if it is the same man. On Friday, a construction worker reported he saw an object floating in the water near the Pensacola Bay Bridge, but nothing was found. The investigation is continuing.
