ATTEMPTED BURGLARY SUSPECT CAUGHT

A Pensacola woman who lives alone near Palafox and Cervantes, called police yesterday morning after she saw a young man who rang her doorbell put on a mask. As officers approached the suspect he fled on foot, but surrendered when he saw one of the department’s K-9 dogs approaching. 17-year-old Vadarius Jackson is charged with attempted burglary and resisting arrest charges, and may face firearm charges as well.
