MURDER CONVICTION APPEAL DENIED

A man convicted of murdering of his mother has had his appeal denied. Circuit Court Judge John Brown sentenced Justin Lantz to life in prison without the possibility of parole after a jury convicted him in April of 2018. Lantz argued that the trial court abused its discretion by excluding evidence that his mother, Robin Lantz, was argumentative while intoxicated, and that she was intoxicated at the time of her death.  The court denied the motions.
