AVOCADO RECALL

California-grown whole avocados sold in stores in Arizona, California, Florida, New Hampshire, North Carolina and Wisconsin are being recalled due to possible Listeria contamination. Phil Henry, President of Henry Avocado, the company making the recall, said every possible action is being taken to ensure the safety of consumers. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says listeria can cause high fever, severe headaches, nausea and abdominal pain. If you purchased an infected avocado, you can discard it or return it to the original store of purchase for a refund.
