There have been five earthquakes along the Florida-Alabama state line the past month and the U.S. Geological Survey has installed four special sensors in the Flomaton, Alabama area to track quakes and get a better reading as to what may be causing them. The USGS said it will take several more earthquakes to get a clear understanding of what is happening. The last major earthquake in the region was in 1997, with a magnitude of 4.9.
