Developer D.R. Horton has agreed to pay $24,000 in fines for unauthorized filling of wetlands in the Deer Run neighborhood in Beulah. The Northwest Florida Management District issued a consent order in March, giving the developer 30 days to comply. The order also requires D.R. Horton to submit a plan on how they will restore the impacted wetlands.
