With the completion of Spring Break Panama City Beach police have released the number of arrests for underage drinking. A total of 201 people were arrested, a significant increase from last year, when 126 people were arrested for drinking on the sandy beach. Officers also saw a slight increase in total arrests during March. This year, 564 people were arrested compared to 549 in 2018. The Bay County Sheriff’s Office made no arrests for drinking on the beach in March. Last year deputies took in about 30 people on that charge.
