ESCAMBIA COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICES PROBLEMS

Escambia County Commissioners want answers after an internal complaint was made against Escambia County Emergency Services by its medical director. WEAR TV 3 is reporting they obtained a letter written by Medical Director Doctor Rayme Edler in which she expressed concerns about medicine dosing errors, IV certifications missing signatures, and that some Emergency Medical Tehnician credentials and certifications had been falsified. Acting County Administrator Amy Lovoy announced she’s bringing in former County Public Safety Director Janice Kilgore next week to assess the entire Public Safety Department.
